  • Age
  • Articulation disorder, dysarthria
  • Do you have cold-like symptoms (fever, chill, headache, cough, runny nose, etc)?
  • Cannot ambulate?

If you have one of the following symptoms, call an ambulance.

Does the symptom start all of a sudden? Do you have limb weakness? OR Do you have limb paralysis?
Did you notice new facial asymmetry/facial droop? Is the patient choked? OR Does the patient have shortness of breath?
Does the patient have a problem in understanding verbal communication? Did the patient have seizure?
Is the symptom getting worse? Did the patient inhale heated air, smoke, or gas?
