These are your symptoms. Please tell the doctor when you are examined.
- Age
- Asthma in a child
- The patient is on asthma treatment. However, the symptom dose not improve even with his/her prescribed medications (inhaler, oral medications).
If you can't find a hospital immediately, or if you have one of the following symptoms, call an ambulance.
| Is your shortness of breath too severe to lie flat, walk, or speak? | Is the color of patient's face or lips purple? |
| Did you/patient inhale any suspicious substances? OR Any possiblity of exposure to suspicious substances? | Before cough, was the patient playing around while eating anything, or holding anything in his/her mouth (especially nuts)? |
| Did the patient cough out a large amount of blood? |
