Have your own fire prevention and indoor safety steps against earthquakes. The utmost efforts at greater safety leads
to the “least damage.” Keep office articles from falling or moving in a quake.

○Earthquake Safety Steps○
Don’t place tall furniture all alone.
Put unstable pieces together.
Fix wall storage units to the wall and the floor.
Join two pieces together top and bottom for safety.
Place low partitions in a stable form (“コ” or “H”) on the floor.
Stabilize computers.
Keep drawers and flaps from accidentally opening.
Stabilize clocks, wall picture frames and announcement boards.
Cover glass with safety films.
Keep evacuation routes clear of obstacles.
Don’t place anything on furniture and shelves.
Store articles neatly. Don’t make the upper part of furniture too heavy.
Don’t keep hazardous materials (ex., drugs and combustibles).
Don’t place articles under the desk.
Don’t leave drawers and flaps open.
Don’t place unstable articles near the windows.
Keep copy machines from falling or moving across the floor.
